Mahesh M Makwana

My name is Mahesh M Makwana. You can find me over at the Patel Building on Palace Road in Kalbadevi. It’s a very busy part of the city, and the Palace Road is always humming with activity from morning until night. The Patel Building is one of those older structures that has seen a lot of history. My office is inside, and it’s a bit cramped with all the books and ledgers I keep, but I know where everything is. Kalbadevi has a specific smell to it, a mix of old buildings and street food, and I’ve grown to like it over the years. I don’t have a secretary or a big team. It’s just me here most of the time. I handle everything myself. The furniture is all mismatched and the floor is a bit uneven, but it doesn't bother me. I’m here to work, not to show off a pretty office. People know me in the building, and we all look out for each other. It gets very loud when the festival processions go past on Palace Road, and sometimes I have to stop working just to watch them for a bit. It’s a lively place to be. If you’re coming to see me, just look for the Patel Building. It’s right there in the middle of everything. I’m usually there from early morning until the sun goes down, just plugging away at the daily chores.
