Madhav Ji Masala Mill

You can find us over at Plot No.5 in Vasant Estate. We are directly opposite the old Yamuna Mill on Dabhoi Road. It's a busy part of town with lots of trucks and workers moving around. Madhav Ji Masala Mill has been operating here for a while. The smell of spices is usually pretty strong around our unit. It’s not a polished showroom or anything like that. It’s a working mill. We have our machines running most of the day. The estate is quite crowded, so parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We just focus on getting the work done. We handle everything from raw materials to the final packing right here. It’s a lot of manual labor and keeping an eye on the grind. We don't have fancy desks or a reception area. If you come by, you’ll probably see us covered in a bit of dust. That is just how it is when you work with masalas. We’ve seen other businesses come and go in Vasant Estate, but we’ve managed to stay put. The building is sturdy enough for the heavy machinery we use. We try to keep things organized, but it gets messy when we are busy. It is just a local business trying to make a living. The noise of the grinders can be quite loud, so we have to shout sometimes to hear each other. We’ve had the same machines for years and they need a lot of looking after to keep them running.
