We are M S K C Mehta Co and we operate out of Amit Nagar Society in Vadodara. Our office is at number 156, right along VIP Road in the Karelbaug area. Being chartered accountants means we spend a lot of time looking at numbers and tax forms. It is not the most exciting work for everyone, but it is what we do. The office is located in a residential society, so it stays fairly calm during the day. We have a few desks set up and plenty of shelf space for all the files we have to keep for the government. Vadodara is a good city for this kind of work. We have been here long enough to know most of the local businesses around Karelbaug. We do not have a big polished lobby or fancy coffee machines. Usually, we just make some tea in the back and get through the pile of work on our desks. Our team is small, mostly just local people who know their way around an audit. We do not spend money on advertising or big signs. Most people find us because someone else told them we were here. It is a straightforward way to run a business. We try to keep things simple for the people who come to see us. It is just about getting the taxes and the books right so nobody has any trouble later on. That is pretty much the whole story of our little office here on VIP Road.
