B M Modi & Co.

B M Modi & Co. is located in the Crystal White Building. It’s right near the Sr Petrol Pump in the Vasna Bhayli area. This part of town has changed quite a bit since we first moved our things in. There’s a lot more traffic on the road now, especially with the petrol pump right there bringing in cars all day. We spend most of our days sitting at these old desks dealing with all sorts of paperwork and files. It’s not the most exciting work in the world, but it needs doing and we stay busy. The light in the building is okay, but we usually keep the fans going at full speed during the afternoons because it gets quite warm in this corner. Sometimes the internet acts up and we just have to sit and wait or make some phone calls instead to pass the time. We’ve got a small pantry area where we keep the kettle for tea. There are always stacks of folders that need sorting through. It feels like every time we finish one pile, another two appear on the corner of the table. We know the security guard downstairs by name and he’s been here as long as we have. Most of the people who come by are regulars who have been dealing with us for a long time. We don't really do any advertising. Word of mouth usually brings people to our door in Vasna Bhayli.
