Kamal Steel Products is located over in Pratap Nagar. If you are looking for us, we are in the 5th Block, specifically on the 3rd Cross. It is one of those streets that looks like all the others, so people sometimes take a wrong turn trying to find the shop. We’ve been here quite a while now. The neighborhood has changed some, but we are still in the same spot making steel items. It isn't a huge factory or anything, just a workspace where we get things done. Most of the guys here have been working with us for years. We start pretty early when the air is still a bit cool. Once the sun gets high, the shop gets warm because of all the metal around. We don’t really do any big marketing or have a team for that. It’s just us. You’ll find some scraps here and there and the sound of tools is pretty constant during the day. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we take a quick break. That’s about as exciting as it gets. We focus on the steel products and making sure the orders are ready when they need to be. It’s a practical kind of life. No big corporate meetings, just figuring out how to finish the work on our plate. If you find yourself in 5th Block, you can’t miss the 3rd Cross entrance. It’s just a normal place with honest work happening every day.
