K C Shrma & Company is located at number 27 in Gokul Society. This is over on S M Road in the Pratapnagar area of Vadodara. It’s one of those neighborhoods where everyone kind of knows everyone else, or at least they recognize the faces. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a functional space where we keep our ledgers and computers. We spend most of our time sitting at the desks, typing away or talking to people who come in with questions. The street outside can get a bit congested during the peak hours, especially with the local transport moving through, but inside it stays relatively calm. We’ve got a ceiling fan that hums a bit too loud, but you stop noticing it after the first hour or so. It’s a very local feel here. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team telling us what to say. We just open up in the morning, do the work that needs to be done, and close up when the sun goes down. Most of the people who come here are from nearby, so there’s a lot of small talk about the weather or the local news while we handle the business side of things. It’s a small operation, just a few of us making sure everything is in order. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and it suits us just fine for the kind of work we do every day. It's a simple life.
