Our office is in Room No 4 of the Masjid Complex. We are right in Kadak Bazar, which is very close to the railway station in Syajigunj, Baroda. Being so close to the station means it is always loud and busy outside, but it is very convenient for anyone coming into the city by train. We have been here in Gujarat for quite some time, working as chartered accountants. The office is a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. We have heaps of ledgers and tax forms all over the place. People come in from the bazar with their questions and paperwork. We do not use any fancy software that we do not understand; we just stick to what works for the numbers. It is a small space, so it can get a bit warm in the summer months, even with the fans running. We are not trying to be the biggest firm in Baroda. We just want to do right by the people who trust us with their books. You can usually find us here from morning until late evening. The neighborhood has a lot of energy, and we like being part of it. It is just honest work, day in and day out. We do not make big promises, we just do the accounting. The railway station area is always changing, but our office stays pretty much the same. We like the familiarity of this little corner.
