Jiviba Mahila Arts & Commerce College

Jiviba Mahila Arts & Commerce College is located right in the Devraj Building over in Karelibaug. If you are around this part of Vadodara, you have probably seen the students heading in for their morning classes every day. We have been in this building for quite some time now, focusing on arts and commerce subjects for the women in our community. It is not a massive campus with huge fields or anything like that, but we make the most of the space we have here. The classrooms are usually full of talk about upcoming exams or whatever project is due next. We do not have a big public relations team or a fancy website to show off. It works for us. Most of what happens here is just the day-to-day work of teaching and learning. The hallways can get a bit noisy between lectures, but that is just how college life is. Being in Karelibaug means we are close to everything, which is convenient for the girls who travel from different parts of the city. We keep things pretty straightforward and practical. There are books, desks, and teachers trying to get through the syllabus. We do not use a lot of big words or flowery language to describe what we do. It is just a place for education where people come to get their degrees and move on to the next part of their lives. Sometimes the elevator in the building is a bit slow. Everyone just takes the stairs.
