You can find us up on the 8th floor of the Hotel Surya Palace. Being right across from the Parsi Agiyari in Sayajiganj makes it easy for everyone to get here. Since we are inside an actual hotel, things feel a bit different than a regular school building. Our students are usually walking around in their uniforms, learning how to handle the front desk or working in the kitchens downstairs. It’s a pretty busy environment because the hotel is always running and there are guests everywhere. Sometimes the elevators take a minute if there's a big event going on in the lobby. Up on our floor, it’s mostly classrooms and a bit of office space where we handle the paperwork and admissions. We spend our days showing people how to set tables correctly or how to talk to guests when they arrive at the door. It’s practical work. Sayajiganj is a lively part of town, so there is always something happening outside the windows. We’ve been in this spot for some time now, and the staff knows the hotel layout like the back of their hand. It’s not a quiet library type of place; there’s always the sound of dishes or someone practicing a presentation. We try to keep things organized despite the constant movement of people. It’s just how the hospitality world works, and we are right in the middle of it every day. We don't use much fancy talk, we just get on with the daily lessons.
