We are over at B-20 in the Jaltarang Society. It’s near the Vejalpur Police Station in Ahmedabad. Even though the name mentions Baroda, our current base is here in this part of town. Shabu T Thomas is usually around the office making sure things are moving. The society is a nice place to work from. It's got that residential feel where you know your neighbors. We do a lot of placement and management tasks from here. Our desks are usually covered in files and notebooks. We aren't very organized in a corporate way, but we know where everything is. The police station being nearby makes it easy to give people directions. "Just look for the station," we tell them. It’s a bit of a walk from the main bus stop, but not too bad. We have a small kitchen area where we make coffee. Most of our day is spent on the phone or responding to messages. It’s not flashy at all. We have some old posters on the wall and the air conditioner makes a bit of a rattling noise, but it keeps us cool. Ahmedabad can get really dusty, so we are always wiping down the tables. We like being in Vejalpur because it’s a real neighborhood. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us doing the work and trying to help people out with their management needs day after day.
