Indu Metal Arts

Indu Metal Arts is located at 910/4 in the GIDC area of Makarpura. This is where we do all our metal work. It’s a workshop, really. You’ll hear the sound of hammers and grinders as soon as you get near the gate. We work with various metals to create different items. It’s a craft that takes a lot of patience. Our floors are usually covered in metal shavings and the air is often warm from the furnaces. We aren't a big factory with automated robots. We do a lot of things by hand or with older machines that we’ve maintained for years. The team here is small. We have a few craftsmen who have been doing this since they were young. We don't have a fancy showroom. If you want to see what we make, you just come into the workshop and we show you what’s on the benches. We don't use big marketing phrases. We just show the work. Sometimes we get a bit behind on orders because a particular piece takes longer than we thought. We try to be honest with people about the time it takes. Makarpura is a busy industrial hub, and we fit right in with the other workshops. It’s honest work, and we just try to make things that look decent and last a long time. It’s hard work, but satisfying.
