Hemant Steel Centre

We are located over on Rajmahal Road in the Pratap Nagar area. It’s a place where there’s a lot of movement and noise from the traffic. Hemant Steel Centre has been sitting here for quite some time now. We mainly deal with steel pieces and various metal parts that people need for building or repairs. The shop is full of heavy items, so it’s always a bit of a workout moving things around. We don’t have fancy displays; the steel just sits where it can fit until someone buys it. The floor is concrete and usually has some metal shavings around. We try to keep it clean, but it's hard with the kind of work we do. People stop by on their motorcycles or in small trucks to pick up what they need. It gets really hot in the summer months because of all the metal, so we stay near the big fan we have in the corner. Most of the people who come in are local contractors or guys fixing up their own shops. We know a lot of them by name. There isn't any fancy marketing here, just a sign outside and us being here every day from morning until late evening. It’s a simple way to earn a living, and we like being part of the Rajmahal Road community. We just keep the inventory stocked and wait for the next customer.
