Our firm is based at 2064, A-1, Vaikunth 2 on the New V.I.P. Road in Baroda. It’s a well-known area and the 390022 zip code is quite a busy part of the city. We operate as Haribhakti & Co. (Chartered Accountants), and we’ve been handling accounting work from this location for quite some time. The office is full of the usual things you’d expect—rows of files, some old wooden desks, and a few computers that have seen better days but still get the job done. The New V.I.P. Road always has a lot of traffic, so there is a constant hum of engines outside our window. Inside, we are usually busy with audits or sorting out tax returns for various clients. It’s a no-nonsense environment. We don't have a lot of decorative stuff on the walls because we prefer to use the space for storage. Every square inch is taken up by some document or another. We work through the heat of the Gujarat summers and the rainy seasons, just keeping up with the deadlines that come with this profession. It’s a lot of mental work, making sure every rupee is accounted for. We aren't trying to be the flashiest firm in town; we just want to do the work correctly and keep things moving. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but that’s just how it goes when you’re dealing with so much paperwork every day. We keep it simple.
