Pami Metals is located at Plot No. 712, 713, and 714. Having three plots side by side gives us a good amount of room to store all the raw materials we keep on hand. We deal with various types of metals. Mostly we are buying and selling, but we also do some basic cutting and processing if someone needs it. The yard is usually filled with stacks of metal sheets and long rods. It can get a bit messy, especially when a big shipment arrives and we haven't had time to move the older stock out of the way. We have a couple of forklifts that are almost always moving around the yard. The drivers are pretty good at navigating the tight spaces, but you still have to be careful where you walk. We don't have any fancy sales talk here. We just tell people what we have in the yard and what the price is for that day. Prices for metal go up and down all the time, which is probably the most stressful part of the whole business. My uncle started this place a long time ago and now a few of us cousins handle the day-to-day operations. We have our disagreements about where things should be stacked, but we manage to get things done. The office is just a small plywood cabin in the corner of the warehouse. It is noisy with all the metal clanging, but we don't really notice it anymore. We just keep working.
