Ghanshyam R Thakkar

My name is Ghanshyam R Thakkar. We are based on the 2nd Floor of D C Plaza. You can find us on A S Char Street, right in the building where the Old Chickpet Post Office used to be. This is in Bangalore, though I have some roots in Vadodara too. Being in Chickpet means it is always crowded. There is a lot of energy on the streets here. The D C Plaza building has been around for a long time. Our office on the second floor is modest. We don’t have those big glass windows or fancy lobbies. It’s just a corridor with doors and our name on one of them. I’ve been working out of this space for years. I like the history of the Old Chickpet Post Office area. It feels like you’re in the middle of everything. We handle our business in a straightforward way. There is no need for big presentations or polished speeches. We talk to people like they are our neighbors, because often they are. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit steep, but it’s good exercise. We have a small staff and we all know our roles. It’s not a complicated organization. We just open up, answer the phones, and do the tasks that are waiting for us. It’s a good life in a busy part of Bangalore. We keep things real and we keep things moving every single day.
