Our place, Genesis Organics Pvt. Ltd., is spread across units 284-1, 2, and 3 in the G.I.D.C. area of Makarpura. Having three units next to each other helps us keep things somewhat organized. One part is mostly for storage and the other bits are where the actual work happens. It’s a busy industrial zone, so there's always noise from the street and the neighboring plants. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. We're just a local team doing our best to manage the organic side of things. The office is small and usually stacked with files and samples. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking the batches in the back. It’s not the cleanest environment, but it’s a working facility, so that's expected. We’ve been in Makarpura for a long time and we know the rhythms of the place. Lunch breaks are usually taken quickly so we can get back to whatever is brewing or being mixed. We don’t have a website with fancy photos or anything like that. We just focus on the day’s tasks and make sure the orders are ready for pickup. It’s a simple, practical way to run things. Sometimes the heat in the sheds gets a bit much during the summer, but we carry on. We are just a group of regular people working in the industrial heart of the city.
