Gayatri Steel Corporation

We are based out of the Makarpura GIDC Estate at plot number 395. It’s an industrial area, so it's all business around here. Gayatri Steel Corporation has been in this spot for a long time. There is a lot of metal and heavy stuff moving in and out every day. It’s loud, it's greasy, and it's exactly where we need to be. We don't have a fancy front office with air conditioning and soft chairs. We're mostly out where the action is, near the machines and the trucks. The sun hits the metal roof in the afternoon and it gets pretty warm inside. We just keep our heads down and get through the orders. There’s a lot of trucks coming and going on the estate roads, and things can get a bit hectic. We know most of the other guys around here. It’s a tight-knit place in its own way. We handle steel, so it’s heavy work. Not much for talking, just getting the loading and unloading done right. If you come by, you’ll probably see us in our work clothes. We don't dress up for the job because there is no point. It’s practical work for practical people. We've seen a lot of businesses come and go in GIDC, but we've stayed right here. It’s a good location for what we do, even if it's not the prettiest part of town. We keep a cooler full of water near the door for everyone.
