We’ve been here at A-26 in Sankheshwar Nagar Society for a while now. It’s right near the Air Force area on Makarpura Road in Vadodara. If you know the area, you know it gets pretty busy with all the traffic coming off the main road. Our workshop is usually humming with the sound of machines because we deal with bellows and hoses all day. It’s not a fancy office, just a practical space where we get things done. Sometimes the heat in Gujarat makes it tough in the afternoons, but we just keep at it. Most of us have been working together for years. We handle a lot of metal and rubber parts, so things can get a bit messy on the floor. People stop by the society gate and ask for directions because the Air Force station is such a big landmark around here. We usually have tea together around four in the evening. It’s a simple setup. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just a group of us making sure the orders for Flexican Bellows & Hoses Private Limited go out on time. The neighborhood is mostly residential around the edges, so we try to keep the noise down when we can. Vadodara is a good place for this kind of work. The supply chains are decent and we know the local transporters well enough to get things moving.
