Essar Steel Ltd.

This branch of Essar Steel Ltd. is in Vadodara, over at B/6 Sundarvan Society. We are close to the Bhagavatnagar Society on New Sama Road. The pin code here is 390008. It’s a bit different from our Surat locations because the pace feels a little more steady here. We have a small office space that’s part of the society area. It’s got a bit of a garden out front that we try to keep watered when we remember to do it. The neighborhood is mostly families, so we try not to make too much noise with the trucks. We deal with all sorts of steel orders for the local building projects. The office inside is pretty simple with a few old wooden desks and some plastic chairs for visitors. We’ve got a calendar on the wall that’s usually marked up with all kinds of dates and reminders. It feels like a home office in some ways because it’s so integrated into the society. We know most of the people living nearby. Sometimes the internet goes out during a storm and we have to do everything by hand for a while. We don't mind it though. It’s just how things go. We just keep our heads down and focus on the steel business. It’s a quiet life but we stay busy enough. There is always some paperwork to finish or a client to call back before we close for the day.
