Dungrani Foods

Dungrani Foods is tucked away in Manjalpur, right by the Manjalpur Naka and close to Gajanan Park. It’s a nice area, and we get a lot of people walking by on their way to the park in the evenings. We deal with various food products, mostly packaged stuff that people use in their daily cooking. The shop isn't very large, so we have to be smart about how we stack the boxes. We started out small and just stayed in this same neighborhood because we like the people here. It’s mostly family running the show. My cousin helps with the deliveries and I handle the customers at the front counter. We have a small storage area in the back that always smells like spices and dried goods. Sometimes the delivery van struggles to find a parking spot near the Naka because it gets so crowded with traffic. We don't have a big corporate setup, just a simple counter and some metal shelves. We spend our mornings checking the labels and making sure everything is ready for the day. If a neighbor needs something special, we try to get it for them next time the supplier comes around. It’s a basic way of doing things, but it works for us. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of our customers by name. It’s just a regular food business trying to do right by the community.
