Devki is located at 1 Anand Bhavan, right across from the Sai Baba Temple on Jubileebaug Link Road in Vadodara. The temple is a very busy spot, so there are always people walking by and the sound of bells or music in the background. It’s a lively place to have a business. Our shop is on a main road, which makes it easy to spot, though parking can be a bit of a challenge sometimes. We’ve been in Vadodara for a long time and have seen the Link Road area change quite a bit. Inside, we keep things pretty simple. We don't have a lot of modern decor or anything like that. It’s just a regular shop where we sell our goods. We spend a lot of time talking to the locals who stop in on their way to or from the temple. The atmosphere is generally relaxed, even when the street outside is noisy. We open up in the morning and go through our daily tasks, checking stock and helping customers. Anand Bhavan is an older building, but it has a lot of character. We like being part of this neighborhood. It feels like home to us. We don't try to be anything we’re not; we just provide what we have to the people who need it. It’s been a steady life for us here on Jubileebaug Link Road, and we plan to keep it that way. We enjoy the rhythm of the day and the folks who visit, whether they're buying something or just passing through.
