Our office is tucked away in Mahadev Soc, over in the Sk Colony area of Baroda. It’s a decent place to work, though parking can be a bit of a headache on some days when everyone is out and about. We deal with consulting, which basically means a lot of meetings and even more emails. The team here is small, just a few of us who have been doing this for years. We don’t really go in for those polished corporate presentations. Instead, we just sit down with whoever comes in and figure out what needs to be done. The office has a few plants that we keep forgetting to water, and the desks are usually piled high with folders. Gujarat is a good place for business, and being in Baroda feels right for us. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit since we first moved in. Sometimes the internet acts up and we have to wait for it to come back on, which gives us a chance to actually talk to each other instead of staring at screens. It’s a simple operation. We don’t have any flashy slogans or anything like that. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay organized. If you’re around Sk Colony, you’ve probably passed by our building without noticing it, as it looks just like the others. We like it that way, quiet and steady. There is always work to do, and we just get on with it.
