D P H Engineering Pvt Ltd has its office at 56 Akota, which is a fairly central spot to be in. The building itself is quite plain, and we’ve been here long enough that the stairs are a bit worn down in the middle. We occupy a space that feels like a typical engineering firm, with rows of desks and old computer monitors that still work fine. There are stacks of blueprints in the corners and some scale models sitting on top of the filing cabinets. We don't have a big sign out front, so you just have to know which door is ours. The windows look out over the Akota area, and you can see the trees along the street. It’s mostly quiet in the office, except for the sound of tapping on keyboards and the occasional phone ringing. We have a small pantry where we keep a stove for making tea, and the fridge makes a weird humming sound every twenty minutes. The carpet has a few stains from spilled coffee over the years, but we don’t really mind. We are more focused on the projects we have going on. Most of our staff have been coming to this same building for years, so it feels a bit like a second home. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a sleek lobby or modern furniture. We just have what we need to get through the workday and keep our projects moving along as planned.
