C.H.Patel & Co is situated right behind the Marketyard in Bodeli. Being located near the Marketyard means there is always a lot of activity around us, with trucks and tractors moving through all the time. We are a local business and we have deep roots here in the Bodeli area. Our day usually starts pretty early when the market gets going. We handle a variety of things depending on what our customers need at the time. It is a simple setup, nothing like the big offices you see in the cities. We have a yard and a small space where we sit and talk to people who come by. A lot of our business comes from word of mouth or people who see us while they are doing their other business at the market. We do not put much stock in advertising or trying to look bigger than we are. We are just a local firm that knows the people in town. Sometimes the yard gets a bit disorganized when we have a lot of stuff coming in at once, but we eventually get it sorted out. It is a practical way of working. We just stay here and help out the folks who walk in, making sure they get what they are looking for without any extra hassle or unnecessary talk. It is a quiet life most of the time, and we prefer it that way compared to the big city rush.
