Branch Co-Ordinator And Counsellor

We are over here at Mani Nivas in Dandia Bazar, right across from the Rajdhani Hotel. Most people know the spot because of the hotel traffic, but we’ve been tucked away in this building for a while now. It’s a busy part of Vadodara, especially during lunch hours. Inside the office, things are usually quiet unless we have a few people waiting to talk. Our desks are mostly covered in folders and notebooks because there is always someone needing advice or looking for direction on what to do next with their career or studies. We spend a lot of time on the phone or just sitting across the table listening to what folks have to say. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just open the windows and keep going. It isn't a fancy setup with glass walls or anything like that. Just some sturdy chairs, a couple of fans, and a lot of conversations. Being a branch coordinator and counselor means you see all sorts of people walking through that door. Some are nervous, some are just curious. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed so nobody feels pressured. Dandia Bazar has that old-school feel to it which we like. If you walk past the hotel and look up, you’ll see our sign. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to get things done one person at a time. Not much more to it than that, really. Just everyday work in a familiar neighborhood.
