Operating a transport business from Shiv Krupa Kutir on Harni Kotali Road is a 24-hour job. We are located near Kakaji Farm in Amaliyara Phase II, which is out toward Tumkur Road. Bombay Indore Transport Company is mostly about phones ringing and trucks moving. We spend a lot of time tracking where the drivers are and making sure the loads are secured. It’s a dusty part of town with a lot of heavy vehicles moving around constantly. Our office is pretty basic. There are maps on the wall and stacks of delivery notes on the desks. We don't have a polished corporate look because that wouldn't make sense for what we do. We deal with drivers, grease, and the weather. If a truck gets stuck in the rain or has a breakdown on the way to Indore, we are the ones who have to figure it out. It’s a lot of stress but we’ve been doing it for years now. We know the routes and we know the problems that come up. We don't make big promises, we just try to get the goods from one place to another without too much trouble. Sometimes things go wrong, and we just have to be honest and fix it. It’s a practical business for people who don't mind long hours and a lot of noise.
