Bharat Furniture

Bharat Furniture is at number 28 Channi Naka, within the Gujarat Housing Board. We are located in the Gorwa area inside the Vishvakunj Society. You can find us right near the Pandya Hotel, which is a good landmark for the neighborhood. Our shop is full of sofas, cupboards, and dining sets. We try to fit as much as possible inside, so it can be a bit of a squeeze to walk through the aisles. We spend our time dusting the wood and showing people the different designs we have. The street outside is always busy with rickshaws and people going about their day. We’ve been here for a long time and the building is starting to show its age. We don't have a lot of fancy lights, just what comes in from the front door and a few tubes on the ceiling. Sometimes we put a few chairs out on the sidewalk if we run out of space inside. It is a local business and we handle all the sales ourselves. We don't use any complicated software to manage things; we just write it all down in our books. When someone buys something, we help them load it onto a rickshaw or a small truck. It is a lot of heavy lifting, but that is just part of the job. We just keep doing our work every day like everyone else in the society.
