Baroda Metal Cast

We are located at B-40 in the Shankar Bhai Patel Estate out in Manjusar, Savli. It is a bit of a drive from the main city, but it is a good spot for what we do. At Baroda Metal Cast, we deal with a lot of heavy work. Casting metal is a hot and messy process, so our clothes usually have a few burn holes or stains by the end of the week. We have a small crew of guys who have been with us for a long time. They know the rhythm of the furnace and how to handle the molds without making a mess of things. It is not the kind of place you would want to wear a nice shirt to. We do a lot of different types of casting depending on what the local industries need. Some days we are pouring iron, and other days it might be something else. The equipment is old but it works well because we take care of it ourselves. We do not have any fancy computer systems for tracking orders; it is mostly written down in a big ledger on the desk. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere, and we have to sweep the floor three or four times a day just to see where we are walking. It is hard work, and the summer heat in Savli makes it even tougher. But we have built a life here, and we like the independence of running our own shop.
