Baroda Bags Exclusive Leather Shop

Our shop, Baroda Bags Exclusive Leather Shop, is located down in the basement of Lakshay Complex. It is right opposite the Lic Kudlu Gate in the Fatehgunj area. Being in the basement means it stays a little cooler during the hot summer months, which is nice for us and the leather goods we keep. You have to walk down the concrete stairs to find us. It is a decent sized space, but since it is a basement, we have to keep the overhead lights on all day long. We spend most of our time organizing the items and talking to people who happen to wander down the steps. Fatehgunj is usually quite active, especially near the Lic gate, so there is always noise from the street coming down the stairwell. We have been in this spot for a bit now. The shelves are mostly full of different leather things. It is not a polished place with bright displays, just a regular shop where we do our daily work. We open up early and stay until the market starts to quiet down at night. Some days are slow and we just sit and wait, while other days it is one person after another coming in. Sometimes the lights flicker because it is an old building, but we just get on with it. There is a small fan we keep running in the corner to help with the air. It is just a simple business in a busy basement.
