Our factory is located out on Plot No.25 within the GIDC Estate in Manjusar. It’s part of the Savli taluka, so it’s a bit of a drive out from the main city, but this is where all the industrial activity happens. At Av Steel Forging, we deal with a lot of heat and heavy metal. The forging process isn't exactly quiet or cool, so the shop floor is always buzzing with activity. We have been at this plot for a while, and the GIDC setup works well for our requirements. There’s plenty of space for the raw materials and the finished forged parts. Our team consists of local people from around Savli and some who travel in. It’s hard work, but we are used to the routine of the hammers and the furnaces. The office part of the building is just a small section where we handle the paperwork and the logs. We don't spend much time worrying about how the place looks to outsiders; we care more about whether the machines are running properly. Being in Manjusar means we are surrounded by other plants and factories, which is the right environment for what we do. It’s a straightforward operation here. We show up, we do the forging work, and we make sure the orders are ready to go out on time from our spot at Plot 25. The days are long and sweaty, but that is just the nature of the forging business.
