Our place is tucked away behind the Atladra Railway Station. It's right off Padra Road, near the Post Office. It can be a bit tricky to find the first time if you aren't looking closely. We handle a lot of metal work here. It’s a dusty environment and the trains going by make a lot of racket, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We started out small and stayed that way mostly. There's always plenty of scrap and raw material lying around the yard. We aren't really the type to have a polished showroom. Most of the time, we’re just in the back getting things shaped and cut. If you need to drop something off, you can just pull up near the entrance. The guys are usually around from early morning. It's a straightforward setup. We don't use any fancy management systems, just notebooks and a lot of talking to get things right. Sometimes the heat in the workshop gets pretty bad in the summer, but the work doesn't stop. We've known the neighbors for years. It’s a quiet enough area once you get away from the main road traffic. Just a bunch of us working with metal every day, making sure things are done how they're supposed to be without any fuss. We might not have the newest computers or a fancy break room, but the tea is always hot and the work gets finished eventually. It’s a bit messy, but that's just how industrial shops are.
