Arun Traders

Arun Traders is located at 54, 1st Main Road in C.I.T Nagar. This part of Chennai is always buzzing with activity, and our shop is no different. We’ve been at this address for a long time, and the building has seen a lot of history. We are traders, which means we deal with a lot of different goods depending on what’s in demand. The shop floor is usually piled high with boxes and crates. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but there is a logic to it that we understand. We don't have a big corporate structure. It's just a couple of us handling the orders, the loading, and the customers. The 1st Main Road can be a nightmare for parking, but people still manage to find us. We spend a lot of our day on the phone or talking to delivery drivers. It’s a very hands-on business. We don’t believe in sitting behind a desk all day. If something needs to be moved or checked, we just do it ourselves. We’ve built up a lot of relationships with suppliers over the decades, and that’s what keeps us going. We aren’t looking to expand into a giant chain. We just like being the local traders that people can count on for a fair deal. The salt air from the coast sometimes makes the metal shutters a bit rusty, but that’s just Chennai for you.
