Kemrock Industries And Exports Limited is situated out at Village Asoj. If you are driving on the Vadodara-Halol Express Way, you’ll eventually find us in the Taluka Waghodia area. It’s a bit of a journey from the main city, but the drive on the expressway is usually pretty smooth unless there is construction going on. Being out in a village setting means we have a bit more space than the cramped city shops. We do a lot of industrial work and exporting, so there are always crates and shipping labels lying around. The sun gets really hot out here in the afternoons, and the canteen is usually the most popular place around lunchtime. We’ve got a mix of local people from the village and folks who commute in from Vadodara. It makes for an interesting group of workers. We don’t really do big speeches or formal meetings; we usually just talk about what needs to be shipped over a quick break. The machines can be loud, and the floor is always covered in something or other, but that is just how an export business looks. We’ve been at this Asoj location for quite some time now, and we’ve seen the expressway change quite a bit over the years. It’s a big operation but we try to keep things grounded and just focus on getting the daily list finished before the sun goes down and we head home.
