Aqua-tech

Down in Mahmadpura, specifically near the 24th Main, you’ll find us working away at Aqua-tech. It’s right by Jeevan Soudha Mahadev, so it’s easy to tell people where to go if they get lost. Mostly, it’s just us surrounded by parts, pipes, and various water things that need looking at. The shop isn't very large, so things tend to pile up if we aren't careful. We spend a lot of time testing stuff and making sure things don't leak. It gets pretty humid some days, especially when we have a lot of water running to check for problems. People usually call us because something stopped working or they want to set up a new system for their kitchen. We carry our tools around in these old bags that have seen better days. The neighborhood is usually busy with traffic, so there’s a constant hum of engines outside. Sometimes the delivery guys have a hard time finding a spot to park, which can be a bit of a headache. We don’t have any big signs or bright lights. It’s just a place where work gets done. Most of our day is spent with our hands wet or greasy, trying to figure out why a pump is making a weird clicking sound. It’s simple work but it keeps us moving from morning until the sun goes down. Sometimes we stay late to finish a job that just won't go right.
