Our workshop is at Plot No. 9 in the Por Industrial Park. It’s tucked behind the Sahyog Hotel, right off National Highway 8. If you’re driving on the highway, you’ve probably seen the hotel sign. We spend our days dealing with water filters and RO parts. There are always boxes of membranes and plastic housings stacked up against the walls. It’s a practical space, not meant for showing off. The industrial park stays busy with trucks, and sometimes the dust from the highway blows into the shop. We have a few guys who handle the assembly and testing. We test the water quality right there at the bench. It’s a lot of plumbing and checking for leaks. Sometimes we have to go out on site to fix units, so the shop gets a bit empty during the day. We don't have a big marketing team; we just sell the parts to people who need clean water. The Sahyog Hotel is a good landmark because everyone knows it for the food. We usually head over there for lunch ourselves. It’s a straightforward business. We just try to make sure the filters are put together right so they don't cause problems later. It’s just us working with the pipes and filters in our little corner behind the hotel. Sometimes the phone rings all day with people asking about their water pressure. We just answer and try to help.
