Apurva Shah

My office is located at 49 Karelibaug, on the 9th Cross of Doctor M C Modi Road. I'm up on the third floor of the Ratnakar Flats. It's right near Buddhadev Colony and directly opposite the Radha Krishna Temple. I’m Apurva Shah, and I’ve been working from this spot for quite a while now. Since I'm on the third floor, there's a bit of a climb, but the view of the temple is nice. You can hear the bells ringing sometimes during the day. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of houses and some small shops. My workspace is just a couple of rooms where I keep my books and computer. It’s not a fancy corporate setup. I like the independence of running my own thing. People usually find me because they live nearby or heard about me from a friend. Karelibaug is a good area to be in. The Ratnakar Flats are older, but they’re well-maintained. I spend my days answering emails and handling the various tasks that come my way. Sometimes the 9th Cross gets crowded with parked scooters, but that's typical for this part of town. I try to keep things simple and honest. No big marketing stuff, just me doing my job. I’ve lived in this city all my life, so I’m used to the rhythm of things here. It's a comfortable place to work. I usually have a small radio playing in the background while I sort through my files. It's just a regular life.
