Ankur Steel

We are located at 1-2, right across from Jai Ambe School in the Jagat area. Being on Waghodia Ring Road makes it easy for trucks to get in and out, which is good for us at Ankur Steel. Most of our day is spent moving heavy loads and checking the inventory. It's a dusty job but we're used to it by now. The school across the street is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. We have a couple of units here to store everything. It’s not the quietest spot with the ring road traffic, but it keeps us busy. We mostly deal with local contractors and people doing their own building work. We don't have any big corporate policies or anything. We just talk to the customers and see what they need. Sometimes we run out of certain items, so we have to wait for the next shipment to arrive. It’s just how the steel business works. We keep the shop open early because that's when most people want to pick up their supplies. There’s no big reception area, just a desk where we handle the billing and paperwork. We’ve been at this location for a while and have seen the neighborhood grow. It’s a decent place to work and we know most of the regulars by name now. It’s a hard job but it keeps us occupied.
