Ankoor Engineers

Our workshop is over at 369/A/1 in the G.I.D.C. Makarpura area. If you have spent any time in this industrial zone, you probably know the street we are on. We do engineering work, mostly focused on mechanical things and fixing equipment that other people cannot quite get right. It is a workshop with some grease on the floor and lots of heavy machinery hummed throughout the day. We do not have a receptionist or a fancy lobby to wait in. You just walk in the front and you will see us working on something. My father started this place years ago, and I have been around here since I was just a teenager. We have seen the tools change from old manual lathes to some of the newer machines, but the basic idea of engineering is still the same. You have to be precise and you have to have a lot of patience. We spend a lot of time measuring things and making sure the metal is cut just right. Some days are very long, especially when a machine breaks down and we have to stay late into the night to get it running again for a customer. We do not spend money on ads or anything like that. Word of mouth usually brings people to our door. It is a dusty, loud place, but it is where we feel at home. We just try to do honest work.
