Ambuja Galvanisers

Our place, Ambuja Galvanisers, is tucked away at number 1 near the Tulsi Dham Char Rasta. It’s right by Krishnadham Society and close to Manjitnagar Asoj. The address is a bit long because we are near the 6th Main and 5th Block on 36th Cross. Finding us isn't too hard once you get to the main landmarks. The workshop is always humming with the sound of metal being moved around. Galvanizing is a messy, hot job but someone has to do it so the steel doesn't rust away in the rain. We spend our days dipping parts and watching the tanks. It gets quite warm inside, especially during the summer months when the sun hits the roof. We don't have any fancy air conditioning, just a few big fans that mostly move the hot air around. The crew here is small and we mostly just focus on the tasks at hand without much talk. We see a lot of different metal pieces coming through the doors every week. Some are small brackets and some are huge pipes that take two people to lift. It is honest work and we have been at this spot for a good while. When things get quiet in the evening, we tidy up the tools and get ready for the next morning's shift. It’s a basic setup but it works for us and the people who come here.
