Amar Steel Products

We are right opposite the gas station in the Shankar Industrial Estate in Pratap Nagar. If you smell exhaust and hear the sound of metal being moved or cut, you’re in the right place. Amar Steel Products has been operating out of this spot for a long time. It’s not a clean office job by any means. We are surrounded by steel, machines, and a lot of noise. The floors are usually covered in some kind of dust or metal shavings. We work hard here. It gets really hot in the summer because of the metal and the lack of airflow in the estate. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing department. If people want steel products, they usually just come by or call us up on the old landline. We know most of our regular customers by their first names. The industrial estate is always busy with trucks coming in and out at all hours. Sometimes it's hard to hear yourself think when the machines are all running at once. We take our breaks when we can, usually sitting on some crates near the entrance for a bit of air. It’s a straightforward business. We make things out of steel and we sell them to whoever needs them. There’s no mystery to it. We’ve been doing it this way for years and we don’t see any reason to change it now. It’s just honest work in a loud part of town.
