Down on Ajwa Road, you can find A J Patel & Co in Gayatri Nagar. We are at B-14, which isn’t too far from the old Pani Gate area. It’s a part of town that has been around for a long time. Govind Rao Park is the main landmark nearby if you are trying to find us for the first time. The office is a bit small, but it fits what we need. We spend our days going through accounts and making sure the numbers add up. It gets a bit dusty with the windows open because of the road, but that is just part of being in this neighborhood. We’ve got some chairs for visitors, but mostly it is just a workspace filled with ledgers and computers. People from the nearby societies often stop in to ask questions or drop off their documents. We don't really use big words or fancy talk here. We just explain things as they are. Life on Ajwa Road is busy, and we are just one of the many small businesses making a go of it. Sometimes we get a bit backed up when it’s tax season, but we just put our heads down and get through it. It’s a steady kind of life. We like the fact that we know most of the people who walk through our door by their first names.
