Pitrases

Pitrases is located in Ward No. 113 in Raiganj, which is part of the North Dinajpur district. Our shop is right near the Jambagan New Masjid, and the railway station is just a short walk away. You can often hear the train whistles and the announcements from the station while we are working. It is a neighborhood that is always full of activity, which we like. We have been running things from this location for quite a while, and the shop has become a familiar place for the people living in this ward. It is not a grand or polished establishment. We have simple furniture and our walls are lined with files and ledgers. We prefer doing things the old-fashioned way, with a lot of talk and a hand-shake. My brother and I manage the day-to-day work, and we don't have a big staff to help us. We don't spend any time on marketing or trying to sound like a big company. We are just local people serving our community. Sometimes the street gets flooded during the monsoon, but we still manage to keep the shop open for whoever needs us. The nearby masjid is a central point for the community, and we feel lucky to be located so close to it. We just focus on our daily tasks and try to be helpful to anyone who comes through our door. It is a quiet, steady life here in Raiganj and we like it that way.
