Multi Link Services

We are located right in the Villpost- Chapar area, under the Chakulia police station. Uttar Dinajpur is where we have always been. It is a quiet place mostly, except when the market gets busy on certain days of the week. Multi Link Services is just a small office we run ourselves. It’s not much to look at from the outside, but we keep everything tidy inside as best we can. Most people in the village know us by now because we've lived here so long. We deal with various small jobs and services that people need help with. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and wait for it to come back on. It is just part of living here. My uncle used to say that as long as the work gets done, it doesn't matter how long it takes. We try to stick to that way of thinking. The office has a few plastic chairs for people to sit while they wait for us. We have been in this same spot for a good while. The commute isn't bad for us at all. We just walk or take the cycle. You can find us near the main path. It gets a bit muddy when the monsoon hits, so we keep an old mop by the door. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us working through the pile of papers. Sometimes we share a pot of tea with whoever stops by to talk about the village news.
