Megharaj

I go by Megharaj and you can find me over at Manjoosha. We are located right near the Bhavani Industrial Estate in Uliyaragoli. It’s in the Kaup area of Udupi. Being so close to the industrial estate means there is always something going on nearby. It’s a bit of a trek from the main Udupi town, but this is where the work is. The building isn't very big, but it’s enough for what we do. We’ve been in the Kalya region for a long time now. Most of our neighbors are also working in small industries or shops. It’s a working-class area, and we fit right in. I spend my days managing the daily flow of things at Manjoosha. It can get a bit dusty with all the industrial activity nearby, but we don't mind. We are just practical people trying to earn a living. My family has been in this district for generations. We know the roads and the people around here quite well. If you are heading towards Kaup, you’ll see the industrial signs and that’s where we are. It’s a no-nonsense type of place. We don't have any flashy signs or big marketing plans. We just show up every day and do the work that needs to be done. It’s a simple life, and we like it that way. We simply just keep our heads down and stay busy. It’s the way we’ve always done it here in Kaup.
