Akshayakumar

Down here in Bramahavar, things move at a different pace. Akshayakumar is based in a house called Aisiri in the Bankers Colony area. It’s a quiet spot, which I prefer. You don’t get all the noise and dust you’d find in a bigger city like Bangalore or even Mangalore. I’ve been here for a long time, and I’ve seen the colony grow up around me. When I started this, I didn’t have much more than a table and a single chair. Now, I have a bit more, but I still keep things very simple. I usually start my day early when it’s still cool outside. The 576213 area is mostly people I’ve known for years. We don’t have a marketing department or any of that. If someone needs something, they usually just find out through word of mouth. I think that is the best way to do things because it keeps everything honest. If you do a bad job, everyone in the colony knows. If you do a good job, you stay busy. My office is just a room in the house that I converted years ago. It gets the job done. Sometimes I take a break and walk around the small garden just to clear my head before getting back to it. It is a humble way to work, and I don’t think I’d change it for a fancy office in a tall building. It’s just me, my work, and the quiet streets of Bramahavar every day.
