The Blessing Day

We are located in Udaipur, Rajasthan, which is a place that sees a lot of celebrations throughout the year. The Blessing Day is what we call our little operation here. We don't have a specific street address we use for everything, mostly because we're always out at different sites across the city. Udaipur is a beautiful place for events, but it takes a lot of work to make sure everything actually works out. We spend our time coordinating with different people, from florists to musicians. It's not a big corporate thing. It's just a few of us who know the city well and know how to get things done. We don't have a fancy office with leather chairs. Usually, we're just meeting people at cafes or at the actual event spots. There's a lot of running around involved. Sometimes we're dealing with the heat, other times it's just the logistics of getting supplies through the narrow streets of the old city. It's a lot of practical, hands-on work. We don't promise anything magical, we just try to make sure the day goes by without any major problems. We've lived in Rajasthan all our lives, so we understand how things work here. It's a lot of phone calls and checking on details over and over. That's just what it takes to keep things moving. We're just regular people trying to do a good job for the folks who live here. We keep our notes in a messy binder that we carry around with us.
