Celebration Caterers

Celebration Caterers is located in Udaipur, specifically at Hukum Raj Tower in the Jodhpur area. Even though we are based here in Udaipur Ho, we travel quite a bit for work, sometimes going out as far as Surguja. It is a lot of driving with big pots, stoves, and bags of rice. We started out just cooking for small family events and it grew into something bigger over the years. Our kitchen is where we spend most of our time, prepping vegetables and getting the masalas ready for the next day. We don't have those fancy pre-packaged meals you see elsewhere. We do things the old way, mostly cooking right at the venue if there is space because the food just tastes better when it's fresh. We've had days where the rain almost ruined an outdoor setup, but we managed to get the covers up just in time. It’s not always pretty behind the scenes with all the steam, smoke, and heat, but the plates look good when they finally go out to the tables. We don’t use a lot of fancy words to describe what we cook. It's just solid meals that people actually like to eat at weddings and functions. There are about ten of us who usually work the main events together. We know the local markets in Udaipur well for getting the freshest vegetables. It’s hard work being on your feet all day, but we are used to it by now.
