Time Lake

Time Lake is over at 110, right near Raj Misthan in the Surajpole area. If you can smell the sweets being fried, you are pretty much at our doorstep. It is a decent spot to have a shop. We deal with all sorts of timepieces. The shop is not huge, but we have enough room for our tools and a few chairs. Surajpole is a very noisy junction. There are always cars and motorcycles honking outside. We have a lot of clocks on the walls, and when it gets a bit quiet, you can hear them all ticking at once. It’s a bit of a funny sound. We don't have any polished corporate mission or anything like that. We just come in, open the door, and see what needs fixing that day. The counter is quite old and has plenty of scratches from years of watches being slid across it. We haven't felt the need to replace it because it still works fine. Sometimes the electricity goes out in the afternoon, so we have to sit by the door to use the natural light for the small screws. We are just a couple of guys working here. We don't use any fancy language or try to sell anything extra. People come in with a broken watch, and we see if we can make it run again. It is a simple way to spend the day in a busy city like this.
