Shrinath Institute Of Nursing

Our building is at 421 Hiran Magri in Udaipur. It’s near Paneriyon Ki Madri. If you know the Dholi Magri area, we are right there. Being a nursing institute means there is a lot of practical work. We have students running around in their uniforms all the time. The classrooms are basic but they do the job. It gets quite busy during the admission season. We spend a lot of time on our feet. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it feels quite safe and quiet compared to the main city. We have some labs with medical equipment that the students use to practice. It’s not a shiny new hospital, just a place for learning the basics. We deal with a lot of paperwork every day. The staff here has been around for a long time. We know the local chai stall guy by name. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but we just keep talking or reading. Nursing is hard work, and we try to show that to the students. There is no shortcut to learning how to take care of people. We have a small courtyard where everyone sits during lunch. It's nothing special to look at, just some chairs and a few plants. We like it that way because it feels like home for the students who come from far away.
