You can find Sai Electricals at Hiran Magri Sector 14, number 213. It is a straightforward kind of place. The walls are lined with boxes of switches, wires, and bulbs. It smells a bit like dust and old plastic in here, which is what you’d expect from an electrical shop. We spend our time testing things or cutting lengths of wire for people who come in. The counter is made of heavy wood and has seen better days, with plenty of nicks and scratches on the surface. We don't have a computer system; we just write everything down in a big yellow register. If the power goes out, which happens sometimes, we just sit by the door where there is some light from the street. Sector 14 is a decent area, and we’ve been at this location for a good while. People know to come to 213 when they have a fuse blown or need a new fan. We don't try to sell people things they don't need. Usually, we just listen to what’s wrong and find the part that fixes it. There are often rolls of wire sitting on the floor that you have to step over. It’s not a place that looks like a magazine cover.
